A semi truck struck the back of a pickup truck southbound on US 169 about 7 p.m. in front of the Oologah Assembly of God. The semi driver appeared uninjured. Northwest firefighters and OTEMS medics prepare an injured person for ambulance transport. The Highway Patrol has not yet issued a report.

Oologah Police Officer Brent Holmes plays with his new service dog Ninja last week in downtown Oologah. The pair are trained in suspect apprehension, drug detection, tracking and building searches.
