The Mustangs out ran the big dogs in 4A baseball last week.

Oologah claimed the championship trophy at the Anadarko Tournament against some the top ranked teams in the state. The Mustangs lost to #1 Tuttle and beat #11 Clinton, Elgin and #3 Weatherford.

It’s probably the toughest tournament in 4A with seven top 15 teams,” Oologah head coach Kerry Hallman said. “This is the first time Oologah has ever won it and it’s only the second time a team from the east side of the state has won.”

The impressive showing at the Anadarko Tournament moved Oologah to #11 in 4A rankings. The Mustangs are 7-3.

Oologah 2- Tuttle 4

Oologah 5- Clinton 1

Oologah 7- Elgin 0

Oologah 5- Weatherford 4
