An Oologah home was destroyed by a two-alarm fire early this evening. It was reported just before 5 p.m. in the 11200 block of S. Oologah Circle, and responding fire crews from Northwest Station 1 could see flames and smoke from US 169. Mutual aid was provided by several area departments including Foyil, Owens & Co. and Collinsville Rural.
A report on cause and damage was not immediately available, but units began leaving the scene shortly before 6:30 p.m.. The resident of the home, located in the East Oologah Acres area just south of E 390 Rd. and just east of US 169, is Oologah Police Officer Scott Eaton. The Red Cross is providing assistance to him, his wife, and two children. There were no reported injuries.
