Mark died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013 at his home in Oologah.
Mark H. Robertson was born May 17, 1958, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Ralph H. and Mary Lou (Foster) Robertson. He died Monday, December 16, 2013, in Oologah, Oklahoma, at the age of 55 years. Mark lived in Owasso, Oklahoma, before making his home in Oologah where he completed his secondary education graduating with the Oologah High School Class of 1976.
After high school, he first attended Claremore Junior College before completing his education at Panhandle State University where he earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in agriculture education. He was married May 14, 1981, in Goodwell, Oklahoma, to Winnona Mathis.
Mark spent much of his working life as an ag teacher in several schools throughout Green Country. He was past member of the Oklahoma Agriculture Education Teachers Association, past member of the Will Rogers Stampede Round-up Club, past member of the Rogers County Fair Board, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
Mark loved working with horses and rodeoing, and passed this love to his family, especially his grandchildren. One of his favorite times was saddling up horses so his grandkids could ride, have barrel races, and calf roping at his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation was from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Collinsville, with Father Richard Christler officiating.
Serving as casket bearers will be Mike Cox, Jerry Wright, Bobby Gage, Steve Messer, Lyndsey Blakley, and Mike Runner. Honorary casket bearers will be past students, rodeo family and friends. Committal services and interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oologah. The family requests memorial contributions to RSU Foundation, Attn: Office of Development, 1701 West Will Rogers Boulevard, Claremore, Oklahoma, 74017, and indicate Bit by Bit, in memory of Mark Robertson. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
