Oologah man dies in contruction accident in Minnesota

UPDATE: The graveside service will be held Monday August 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, with Rev. Claud Strong officiating.  Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com.  Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.

The Scott County (Minn.) Sheriff’s office reports that Robert Fenstermacher, 28, of Oologah, died from head injuries sustained in a fall on Wednesday at Helena Township, Minnesota.

Fenstermacher and another worker fell into a 50 ft. hole, the Sheriff’s office reports.

“Preliminary investigation indicates that both men were standing on a circular rebar section and were be3ing lowered into the hole via crane when a strap broke causing the workers to fall approximately 20 – 30 feet,” the Sheriff’s office said.

The men worked for Aldridge Electric, a company based out of Illinois.
