A standing-room-only crowd at Mustang Stadium cheered on 132 Oologah graduates Saturday night.
High school principal Robert Schornick opened the ceremony by leading the class of 2013 in one last chant of “Mustang magic.” He welcomed the capacity crowd and congratulated the graduates.
“This is one of the best classes I’ve ever been associated with,” he said.
The class of 2013 has twelve Oklahoma Academic Scholars and amassed $4,197,192 in scholarships.
Schornick said when they entered high school as freshmen they knew about Mustang magic, but as seniors they truly knew what it meant to be a Mustang for life.
Senior class president Crystal Thomas came onto the stage and called the class roll for the final time. Cheers filled the stadium as each graduate received their diploma.
