A rape defendant and his aunt who is accused of facilitating the crime were bound over for trial last Wednesday (April 3).
Oologah graduate Braeden Paul Hendershott, 19, waived his preliminary hearing and then testified against Jessica Cleveland, 32, in her hearing before Judge Terrill Crowson.
Hendershott is accused of committing sexual acts with two underage girls in December, 2011. Hendershott was 18 years old at the time and the girls were both 14-year-olds.
Hendershott is facing three counts of second degree rape, one count of forcible sodomy, one count of lewd or indecent acts to a child under 16 and one count of furnishing alcoholic beverage to a person under 21, all felonies.
Clevelandwas originally charged with two counts of enabling sexual abuse of a minor. On Monday, the charges were amended to procuring a minor for lewd acts.
