Mustangs move up in rankings

The Mustangs moved up to #6 in 4A rankings with wins overFt.Gibsonand Claremore Sequoyah and losses to Catoosa and Jay.
Oologah’s two losses were to quality opponents. Catoosa is ranked #9 and Jay is ranked #12.
“We’ve been playing some tough teams. Catoosa and Jay should be top ten teams at the end of the season and we had a chance to win both of those games,” head coach Kerry Hallman said. “One of the bright spots has been freshmen Caleb Buchfink on the mound. He’s 2-0 with two shutouts and he’s really stepping up.”
