Grocery site layout gets green light
City Editor
A site plan for a new grocery store got a thumbs up from the Oologah Town Board Tuesday morning.
Director of Real Estate Development, Joel Riggs with Super Market Developers Inc. submitted the plan to the board. A new Apple Mart will be built on the northwest corner of the intersection of U.S. 169 and O.K. 88.
“It’s an exciting project for the community and we’re excited to be here,” Riggs said. “As a suburb ofTulsa, it’s a phenomenal location with the access to 169.”

Will the traffic be routed away from the residential area to the north?
The traffic at times is very heavy and fast on these streets. This is an area of a lot of elementary school children.
People are using this as a cut off to get to sonic and other eating businesses.
There are signs posted “Slow Children at Play”
but this does not seem to slow them down.
Thank you
