James “JR” Ralph Arnold services set

James Ralph “J.R.” Arnold, 41, of Oologah passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Oologah. He was born December 6, 1971 in Minneola, Kan., to James Perry Arnold and the former Martha Baker.

He was a Rancher who loved horses and roping. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. He had been a quadriplegic since getting injured in a football game at the age of 16.  He married Renee on October 15, 2008.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Arnold of the home; two daughters, Jordyn Arnold and Vanessa Arnold of the home; three step-children, Brittany Wells of Chelsea, and Tyler Wells and Tayler Wells of the home; three grandchildren; his parents; his grandfather, Jim Arnold of Hutchinson, Kan.; a brother, Dusty Arnold and his wife Stephanie of Hutchinson; a sister, Tamra Algrim of Blackwell, Okla.;. two aunts, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Fellowship Community Church with Pastor Leon Hargrove officiating; burial in Ashland, Kan., on Thursday. Services are under the direction of Oologah Dolton Funeral Home.
