Dr. Sam Stauffer will be temporarily seeing patients in Claremore while Utica Park Clinic prepares his new facilities in Oologah.
The longtime Oologah Family Medicine physician will temporarily relocate to Utica Park Clinic – Claremore, where he is welcoming new and current patients.
His new temporary office is located at 1501 N. Florence, Suite 201 in Claremore. Appointments can be set by calling 918-341-1886 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Dr. Stauffer will begin seeing patients in Oologah in late February. More details will be announced at a later date, Utica Park Clinic said.
Utica Park Clinic, with locations across Northeast Oklahoma, is the physician group affiliated with the Hillcrest Health Care System.
Besides Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, the system includes two local hospitals—Hillcrest Hospital Claremore and Bailey Medical Center in Owasso.
A form letter to Dr. Stauffer’s patients from Dr. Robert Kenagy, who identifies himself as President of OMNI Medical Group which was Dr. Stauffer’s employer, said, “Your medical records will remain with OMNI Medical Group and will be available to the OMNI provider with whom you choose to continue your medical care.”
However, Utica Park said that medical records can be transferred to Dr. Stauffer.
Utica Park Marketing Coordinator Gayle Otto explained, “There are two ways that current patients can handle this.
“One, they can call their Omni office and request to have their medical records transferred to Dr. Stauffer at Utica Park Clinic – Claremore Internal Medicine.
