The owners of a closed gun range south of Oologah have requested a special permit in an attempt to reopen the business.
Byron Dykes and Green Country Safe Shooters filed an application for a conditional use permit/ special exception with the Rogers County Planning and Zoning Commission. The permit would allow the owners to use the property to operate a gun range and training facility.
The public hearing on the special exception will be held Tuesday, September 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the county commissioner’s meeting room at the Rogers County Courthouse.
