Oologah High School Principal Robert Schornick has accepted a job with Tulsa Public Schools.

Schornick has been principal for the last seven years. He was a principal at Pawhuska for three years before coming to Oologah.

Schornick has been hired as an Instructional Leadership Director for TPS. Schornick accepted the position last week. He eventually hopes to become a superintendent and he said this was the next step in his career.

It’s one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever had to make. I’ve enjoyed every single minute of my career at Oologah-Talala Schools, Schornick said. This is an opportunity for me to grow personally and professionally.
